I would like to thank Julia Landon's parents who are volunteering to assist with magnet tours. Kudos to the student ambassadors! They did an excellent job leading their tours last night.

In addition, I would like to thank the NCLB mentors for being consistent in your visits with the mentees. The students really look foward to your visits. Julia Landon's faculty and administration greatly appreciate the time and effort you put forth with our students.

Thanks to Mrs. P. Smith for her hard work and efforts in organizing the Science Fair. Congratulations to the students whose projects was selected for judging. I was really impressed with their articulation of their experiments and conclusions. I would like to give a special congrats to the followiing students who will be reprsenting Julia Landon at the North East Florida Regional Science and Engineering Fair:

To my Julia Landon family. I will be going to Palm Avenue Exceptional Student Center for the month of October, but will return in November. I would like to thank those who have expressed words of kindness to me as I embark on this new journey. Your well wishes are greatly appreciated.

All About This Year

I am really excited and looking forward to this upcoming school year. This will be a year full of exciting teaching and learning, and activities that will be conducive to the development of our students becoming well-rounded individuals. A favorite quote of mine is, "An education is the platform to freedom and the future belongs to those who prepare now." At Julia Landon through academics, enrichment activities and leadership, we will be preparing students to be future leaders.
